Chasing Mona Lisa

My Review:

Loved, loved, loved this book.

Set in WWII Paris, this book is a fast-paced novel that follows the painting "Mona Lisa" around as it passes between people who are trying to save the artwork from the wrong hands and those trying to steal it for their own passions.  I loved the character development, the setting details (particularly because I was raised in Europe and just visited Paris this past summer) and the action that just never seemed to quit.

Between the battles of Hitler's army and Paris's Resistance...between good and evil...between those who want to do good but are stuck in a negative situation...I truly felt on the edge of my seat thru the entire book.  In fact, on the nights I read before I fell asleep, I spent the whole night in dreams where I was caught in the midst of action-packed dreams! :)

Because I love European history and great stories, I give this book a two thumbs up and am going to go back and read the prequel to this story.
